Join Fiona Johnston, Community and Access Programme Coordinator, to explore the Palace of Holyroodhouse’s close associations with some of Scotland’s most well-known historic figures such as Mary, Queen of Scots and Bonnie Prince Charlie, and learn how today it is used by The King when carrying out official engagements in Scotland.
Please note the Palace of Holyroodhouse is largely accessible with an accessible lift to the first floor if required. Due to the historic nature of the building, please note that there is no access for wheelchair users to Mary, Queen of Scot’s Chambers. Footage/images of these spaces will be provided on the day if required for this purpose. Please let group leaders know of any access requirement at time of booking.
