This event is open to Edinburgh and Midlothian carers.
Date and time: Monday 9 June, 2pm to 3:30pm.
Description: Curious about how theatre comes to life? Join our Theatre Insights Workshop for a hands-on dive into the creative and planning sides of showmaking! You’ll explore how venues choose productions (Programming) and how theatre makers develop new work (Devising).
Work in teams to pitch a brand-new show, then bring your idea to life in a devising session—no script needed. Discover how different perspectives shape what ends up on stage, and build skills in creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. Perfect for anyone interested in how theatre is made—from big-picture planning to bold, original performance. No performance experience needed!
Booking: click “request break” and complete the form to register your interest. A member of our Wee Breaks team will then contact you to discuss your request.
