Join Catherine on Thursday 13 June from 1pm – 2pm to learn a little about Buckingham Palace, as a historic home but also a royal office. This will be an interactive online session with opportunity to ask questions about the royal London residence.

In this online talk, participants will learn more about the history of Buckingham Palace, from George III and Queen Charlotte’s countryside retreat, to Queen Victoria’s palatial family home, newly extended to host her and Albert’s lavish balls. We’ll also talk about how the Palace is being modernised to be continually used by H.M. The King and members of the Royal Family, and how the beautiful works in the Royal Collection provide the backdrop and props for royal entertaining.

This event is open to carers registered in Edinburgh or Midlothian.

Priority:  Priority will be given to those carers who have not benefited from VOCAL Wee Breaks support previously.

To Book: Click the “Request Break” button above and the VOCAL Wee Breaks team will be in touch to discuss your request.
