In partnership with Out of the Blue, we are offering unpaid carers a variety of 8-week long creative workshops to try something new, and connect with others.
Dressmaking – Join us to learn the skills of dressmaking, sewing, repair or upcycling. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced sewist, take time out of your busy week to get creative in a friendly and welcoming group! The first session will be an introduction to the course.
We will have sewing machines and tools available for you to use from our professional studio. However you are also welcome to bring your own sewing
machine if you wish. We will have a wide selection of patterns that you can use as well as some fabrics available for free. If you have a project in mind already please do bring it along!
Saturdays 10 May – 28 June, 2pm – 4pm, Out of the Blue Drill Hall, 32-36 Dalmeny Street
PLEASE NOTE – As always, priority will be given to those carers who have not benefited from our Wee Breaks Programme previously. We will operate a waiting list, and should you cancel or miss the first session, we will allocate your place to someone on the waiting list.
Booking: Click the ‘Request Break’ button and complete the online form, and our team will be in touch to confirm if you have been awarded tickets.
