Join Seagull Trust for a festive cruise along the canal on Wednesday 10 December, starting and finishing at Ratho (1pm – 2:45pm)! Seagull Trust provides canal cruises for people with additional needs of any age. Each boat is operated by a crew of trained volunteers.

This trip is aimed towards carers of children. Santa will be paying a visit and giving out small gifts to the young people. You can also bring your own presents for your kids for Santa to hand out. Parents should make sure your gifts are pre-wrapped and labelled for your children please.

Accessibility: Each boat can carry up to 12 passengers, including up to 4 wheelchairs, and has accessible lifts and toilets. If you or your child use a wheelchair or have mobility needs, please include this under the accessibility needs part of the registration form.

Food: Snacks and hot and cold drinks are provided. Please let us know of any allergies or dietary requirements when you fill in the registration form.

Parking: Take Baird Road alongside the Bridge Inn car park, follow signs to Seagull Trust and go down the slope to our parking area beside the boats. Please do not park in the Bridge Inn car park unless instructed.

Priority: Priority will be given to those carers who have not benefitted from VOCAL Wee Breaks support previously. There are limited spaces available for this event!

This event is open to carers living in and/or caring for someone in Edinburgh and Midlothian. Each booking can be for one carer and their companion.
