The National Mining Museum Scotland  are offering carers and a companion the opportunity to explore Scotland’s mining past.  The National Mining Museum is a 5-star visitor attraction based on the site of the restored Lady Victoria Colliery in Newtongrange. Tickets include a tour with an ex-miner or take a self-guided tour of the museum, and explore 2-floors of exhibitions. The tours start at 10.00, 12.00 and 14.00.  Carers wishing to take the guided tour will need to pre-book.  The Museum has a free car park with disabled spaces and a ramp leading to the Museum’s main reception area.

Priority:  These tickets are limited so priority will be given to those carers who have not benefited from VOCAL Wee Breaks support previously.
