This event is open to carers in Edinburgh and Midlothian, who are registered with VOCAL.

Carers and a companion can join us on Wednesday 6 November at 9:30am for a trip down the Real Mary King’s Close!

When you arrive you’ll meet one of Mary King’s neighbours, a fine soul who’ll guide you through the twists ‘n’ turns of these streets.

Arrival and location: please arrive 10 minutes before the start time of your tour. There are no lockers on site to store any bags.

The venue is on the Royal Mile, next door to the City Chambers. If you want to buy anything in the gift shop, only card payments are accepted.

Accessibility: this tour is unfortunately not wheelchair-accessible, as there are 58 steps to go down, and 38 steps to go up, as well as uneven floors.
