VOCAL in partnership with Wee Pedal are offering carers and a companion the opportunity to take a leisurely guided bike ride around some scenic routes in and around Edinburgh. 

This will include rides to Portobello Beach, Newhailes House, The Meadows via The Innocent Railway and Queen Margaret University. These locations are carefully planned using mostly traffic free cycle paths with a coffee and toilet stop at the destination. All rides are approximately 2 hours.

There will be four weekly rides throughout March and carers can choose to participate in all four of the rides or sign up for as many as they would feel comfortable with.

Bicycles, helmets and fully qualified ride leader will be provided, but those participating in the guided tours must be able to competently ride a bike.

Priority: Each ride is limited to 8 people, so priority will be given to those carers who have not benefited from VOCAL Wee Breaks support previously.
